Your Chertsey Show Needs You

Volunteers are needed to help with the biggest annual event in Chertsey.

Many duties are required to get the showground in order and to be completed prior to the show starting, during the show, and when the show finishes. From hammering in posts, erecting fencing, positioning tables & chairs around the showground to name but a few. Also the grass is given a rough cut prior to the event but in certain areas, such as inside the marquees, the grass must be cut shorter. This is the sort of work that must be done and the adage 'many hands make light work' is so true. If you can spare just a couple of hours or more, one or more days from August 8th to August 14th when the showground has to be de-rigged, we would be most grateful.
